I'm an enterprise software architect by day and it's hard to spend 10+ hours a day at work in front of a bank of computer monitors, only to come home... and sit in front of another bank of monitors! I have to admit I have been getting "the itch" again lately, but it's not to the point where I am ready to scratch it. Not just yet. Thanks for stopping by! I'm a bit a Trekkie myself. I happen to do audio restoration and re-mastering. If you're having problems with your Star Trek Episode audio, I should be able to fix it for you - for free. Just export your finished Youtube segment audio and send it to me via one of those large file uploading services. Give me the login info. and downloading instructions. When you get it back, shut off the audio track for your video (on your editing program) and add another empty track below it and put the fixed version in that track. Love your work.

However, I didn't find this too much of a problem when I was watching and could only notice the technical shortcomings if I really analysed the footage. The overall effect was great in my opinion and like Doc Thompson I loved the use of the Moby Dick theme. Scott, I agree with you that the execution could be better. Comment on DSLR Lens Rental Companies by Sean http://scottgammans.com/blog/2010/03/26/dslr-lens-rental-companies/comment-page-1/#comment-2264 Sean Mon, 25 Jul 2011 19:53:07 +0000 http://scottgammans.com/blog/?p=298#comment-2264 Thanks for compiling this list. I agree that buying is cheaper than renting, but for some lenses (tilt-shift for example) owning one just wouldn't make sense for me so I love that these rental companies are out there. I've rented quite a bit from borrowlenses.com and have always been really happy with them. Final comment: always rent before you buy! Thanks for compiling this list. I used to build model cars and airplanes so I know how tedious the process can be and what you have here is way more advanced then a model car or airplane. A lot of time and attention went into this.
